Fall update 11/06/2009
Trevor Starr has joined the lab to work as a postdoc on the EBI bioenergy project (welcome!), while Jingyi Li has finished her postdoc and moved on (good luck!). Betsy has spent the last month working in France with Mathieu Paoletti as part of the France Berkeley Fund exchange program. All change! 07/27/2009
Two new additions to the lab: David Kowbel- David joined a few months ago and is working on the QTL project with Charles and Julie. Terry Shock- Terry started her postdoc in July, and is working on the EBI bioenergy project. Also, two members of the lab have graduated and are due at grad school next month! Our talented undergraduate Spencer presented his honors thesis today- Well Done! Spencer will be working full time in the lab after graduation, until he goes to graduate school next fall.  Featured 11/24/2008

Dr Monika Schmoll from the Vienna University of Technology has arrived to spend two months working with Tian, Jianping, and Spencer on the Miscanthus degradation project. She will be looking at the differences between cellulase degradation in Neurospora and Trichoderma. Welcome! | |||||||
